"Album dropping soon..."

A few of these pics are just giving me album cover vibes for some reason - the jaunty camera angles maybe? the 'blue steel' facial expressions? or the unintentional (but actually quite intentional) Haim-inspired outfit? - I wish I could be as effortlessly cool as those girls, but since I have zero musical ability, I'll just have to embody them through the clothes. Can anyone rock high-waisted jeans like the Haim sisters? Answer: No, but we can certainly try. So because of this, I thought I'd talk about a few of my favourite albums. Recently, I saw a trend on Instagram where people pictured four albums in their 'collection' that they wouldn't skip through, so I'll do the same. 

I'm very much a music person (always have been), I love listening to music in the car wacked up to full volume, while I get dressed for the day and put my face on or before I go to sleep and unwind. I think it can do wonders for your mental health, like an immediate injection of happiness. This was very tricky to single down but if I had to choose four albums to listen to in their entirety, it would be these; 

1. Something To Tell You - Haim (As previously mentioned I'm a serious fan-girl for Haim, so their second album had to be in my selection. I remember hearing them for the first time and thinking I'd never heard anything like them. Completely original, perfect harmonies and makes you think of summer.) 

2. Lungs - Florence and the Machine (This album is very nostalgic for me and takes me back to high school, when I would listen to it on repeat while I did revision and homework. Rock and roll, I know. I've loved every album Florence has put out but her first will always be the most special; beautiful, ethereal and magical.) 

3. Foolish Loving Spaces - Blossoms (This is a very recent one as it only came out this year but as soon as I heard it I was obsessed. It would be a travesty to skip a single song. This is how you write an album. Well done boys. *slow clap*) 

4. Joanne - Lady Gaga (Just listen to it. Thank me later.)
